Beautiful illustrations of many different types of flowers. The illustrations have lines in places to enable you to color and shade for a more realistic look. The name of flowers and short description with possible colors of each flower is at bottom of each illustration.

Guess I didn't read the description of this coloring book as I ordered quite a few. These are fine if you're not that interested in the flowers and more interested in what the gardens look like with buildings, bridges, etc. No color guides for this book--a book for someone experienced or who is willing to look up the gardens on the internet to see what they look like. Some people might think this book is great.

I purchased this for my grandmother who loves gardening. She really enjoys the detailed pictures and flower information this book provides. It has been an enjoyable winter project for her to do. She likes to use color pencils to color her pictures. She is in her 80s. I would recommend this coloring book for all skilled coloring enthusiasitis who enjoy flowers or gardening as a hobby.

Each picture a glimpse of actual flower gardens that are located coast to coast. There is even one from Canada. The pictures are very detailed orientated. They are 2 sided, so I would not recommend using markers. Each picture has an accompanying paragraph providing background for each location. I love this book because the real life stories set it apart from the rest.

Lovely books. My mother is an 88 year old lady with dementia. She loves to color and theses books make her so happy. That are designed for adults, not children, so she finds them challenging. I highly recommend for any adult as a great way to relax. Mom used to sew, but we can no longer be sure she can safely use scissors or needle, but crayons and these beautiful books are a great activity.

What I personally don't like about this coloring book: (1) There is little to no room for artistic creativity, (2) The pages are illustrated on both sides, and (3) The pages are not perforated.

I bought this as a way of relaxing and am pleased with it. The images are interesting with just the perfect balance of complexity and subject matter. The descriptions of each location for the photos is enough to give you and idea of what the picture is supposed to look like, as well as where the real place is located if you want to find out more.
