Sam's Car Reviews
I was compelled to write my own review of this book, because I didn't want any other mothers who were looking for books on sharing to make the same mistake that I did. This book basically teaches that instead of sharing, children should hit each other until mom comes to settle the dispute for them. I didn't read it to my child once and wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE looking for ways to teach their children about sharing.
This book has absolutely nothing to do with sharing! sentences like "Lisa smacks Sam.Ow" will only encourage toddlers to hit not share. In fact, there is no mention of the word "share" at all! Having mommy save the day by bringing out another toy car to resolve the conflict is so unrealistic...!
Two kids fight over a toy car, and then mom saves the day by bringing over another car. Seems pretty basic, but my two-year-old is fascinated. He wants to read the book over and over again, probably because he has similar encounters every day at the playground.
Very simple book but still very cute. A real life story about two toodlers who refuse to share a car. My little 1 1/2 year old girl can every day relate to this charming story and it is absolutely her favorite book.
This story about Sam and Lisa is very simple and every day life, but still very cute. My son loves all the Sam books and this is one of his favorites. I can also recomend Sam's cookie and Sam's wagon.
This is a story about Sam and his friend Lisa fighting about a toy. It's so cute and I have to read it over and over again to my babysister , it's great!
