The pictures are sometimes not very clear but with the help of the text and some experiences in martial arts it is ok. In the book you will find basics but also some details which are interesting for experienced martial artists.I would buy it again!

This is a gruesome and realistic book. You need more than just the right moves to disable an attacker (or victim for that matter) you need intensive strength training. This book only covers the moves part but it emphasizes the need for strength training for many of the moves. Do any of the techniques in this book work? I don't know because it would require me to maim or kill someone in order to test it out, and I have no need or desire to do so because I have an unrepressed empathy for the pain and suffering I can cause others by my actions and my built-in moral compass won't allow me to try it out for no good reason.
